Vladimir Zbynovsky
Seuils
Vladimir Zbynovsky creates pieces of art that often associate glass and stone. When he sculpts these materials, he explores thresholds that come to life as soon as they are exposed to light and asks questions about time, memory, what is considered to be sacred and how this is perceived. Progressively, this sculptural approach led him to think about glass in a more conceptual manner, as a shield and forwarding area capable of changing our environment.
Through a careful selection of iconic works, coming from the artist’s workshop as well as public and private collections, the Conches Glass Museum revisits the various stages that have marked the progression of an artist who has made a name for himself in the current field of glass sculpture.
